It’s a good indication of how my thoughts got routinely repurposed this semester that when I found out that David Byrne did a performance art piece commenting on PowerPoint — the very David-Byrne-obsessed, cheap-excuse-for-cultural-commentary kind of fodder the DSWJ thrives on! — I turned the link into a professor and neglected to post it here. (That’s an AP article borrowed by a friend of Charlie’s.) He exhibited his presentation downtown and I KNEW about it and I MISSED it anyway. what a dip. maybe he’ll do it again?
